BANGLADESH
Bangladesh is predominately a strict Muslim nation. We have been able to build the House of Mercy Medical Clinic in the city of Dinajpur in northern Bangladesh. We have also furnished the facility with beds, blankets, mosquito nets, and medical supplies. In addition, we have provided desks for the school at this location (the 113 converted students previously had none). We also initiated an animal husbandry project to help provide for the teachers and students. We have also been able to build four rural Christian school / churches in this region and will be building two more in this coming year. We have also translated, published, and distributed 5,000 copies of a children’s Christian book in Bengali last year.
